Royal Manchester Food & Beverage Update – April 12, 2019
Dear Members & Guests,
We’d like to take an opportunity to provide an update with respect to our food & beverage operations at Royal Manchester Golf Links. We have been “closed” the past two weeks, as we’ve worked to improve the space by executing a professional deep cleaning, auditing the quality and quantity of our existing inventory, and organizing the space to facilitate the Club’s needs.
As previously stated, we are in the process of transferring the ownership of the existing liquor license, which, unfortunately, prohibits us from serving alcohol beverages for a period of roughly 45 – 60 days. During this transitional period, we are allowing our members & guests the ability to BYOB. We do ask that those who take advantage of the BYOB would refrain from bringing glass on property.
During this transition period, without the ability to execute bar operations, we are going to have a limited food & beverage offering. Our plan is to utilize the commercial grade outdoor grilles, that were fortunate to have at this facility, to service the golfers needs by offering a limited grille menu that is convenient and accessible to our golfers. This limited operation will be available seven days a week.
Monday – Tuesday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Wednesday – Saturday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
**hours subject to change**
Once the transitional period is complete, we will return to a full-service grille room operation, with an expanded pub menu, but again, our ultimate focus for 2019 is to meet the golfer’s food & beverage needs, which is our primary customer on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This means convenient, quick, fresh, and delicious items that are perfect for satisfying you before, during, or after your round of golf. We will continue to offer snacks, and drinks in our Pro Shop for convenience.
Additional food & beverage options with respect to golf outings and banquet events will be available, and we encourage you to contact our Clubhouse Coordinator, Angelina Dickens, to discuss those needs in detail.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation we work through this transition. We look forward to a great 2019 golf season.
