Meet Our Staff
Golf Course Superintendent: Jesse Hartman GCSAA
Jesse Hartman comes to Royal Manchester with over seventeen years of experience in the golf maintenance industry and a Bachelors Degree in Turfgrass Science from The Ohio State University. He brings knowledge from local clubs as well as top ten courses in the country. His main goal is for everyone who plays Royal Manchester to leave with a smile on their face and a good score on their card. Jesse’s favorite hole is number eighteen. He says it is the perfect combination of skill with hitting the approach shot over water, to the picturesque beauty of the clubhouse in the background and signature water fall just to the side.
While not on the golf course, Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife.

Kitchen Manager and Head Chef: Brent Robertson
Senior Staff Instructor The Golf Academy at RMGL: Jaime Gylan
The reason all golfers need instructors is because the game is so difficult and the golf swing is so complex. As a teacher it is my job to decipher the complexities of your golf game and relay it to you in a way you will be able to understand and apply. To become a great golfer you need to excel in all parts of the game. I enjoy the challenge of working with you on your weaknesses to make you a better overall player. Playing beyond what you thought you were capable of is fun. You know what else if fun? Seeing yourself get better. That’s what I love the most about teaching. I believe all golfers have the potential to get better. I believe together we can fulfill that potential. Jaime shot a 10 under par 134 to capture the 2102 National Car Rental Middle Atlantic PGA Assistants Championship by 6 shots.
Bar Manager: Danielle Ellinger
Danielle comes to us from Maryland with a certificate in Culinary/Baking and Pastry Arts. She got her start in the field in 2007 as a baker and cake decorator and has been working in the Food & Beverage/ Hospitality Industry ever since. She’s worked in many different styles of bars over the years, from Maryland to DC and down to Charlotte, NC but finally found her way back north, “back home”, here with us. She has a true passion for the business and we are as excited to have her as she is to be here!
